What have we been up to?

What a great way to start the month, morale runs high at APS as they pass their RISQS Audit yet again but this time achieving the highest possible rating of 5 Stars.  All part of their continued success of giving clients the confidence of working with a professional contractor.  With safety being a core value of key success and in line with Network Rail vision of “Everyone home safe everyday” APS also applied for their Rail Contractor Certificate this month.  This gives further assurance to clients of Advanced Power Services continued ability to carry on being self contained with protection staff.

Rail Infrastructure

June see the Jointing Support of various works in Sussex, Surrey, London and Hampshire on a range of various major projects such as Cross Rail and CP4 Power Upgrades.  Executing works ontime and within program as always!  APS Delivered 33kV Oil Joints, 33kV XLPE Terminations and 22kV Jointing works to new substation projects.

OffshoreAPS are to support a client with cable terminations on an oil rig offshore in Benin, West Africa ready to deploy in the next couple of weeks.Staff Training

As part of ongoing training, APS staff have just completed their Basic Offshore Safety Induction & Emergency Training and have renewed their Working at Heights Certification.  The team are also booked to attend 72kV 3M Termination courses along with Pfisterer Re-Certification.
